About This App
Install a program that can read documents in PDF, DOC, TXT, EPUB, and FB2 formats, among others.
Web pages, news stories, lengthy emails, TXT documents, PDFs, DOCs, DOCX, RTFs, OpenOffice documents, ebooks in EPUB, MOBI, PRC, AZW, and FB2 formats, among others, may be viewed on screen or read out by the program. It functions as an HTML reader, document reader, and ebook reader all in one. You may use it for on-screen reading or listening when your eyes suffer, don't work, or you have other things to do.
FEATURES:
* Read text, HTML, PDF, DOC, DOCX, RTF, OpenOffice documents out loud.
* OCR (Optical Character Recognition) is now available to extract text from PDF files when standard text extraction is ineffective.
* To transmit text to @Voice Aloud Reader for reading aloud over speakers or a headset, click the "Share" or "Send by Email" button or menu item in any app.
* Web sites' menus, navigation, advertisements, and other clutter are eliminated when sent to @Voice, leaving just the content for reading or listening.
* To transmit conversations to @Voice for listening, utilize WhatsApp's Export Chat option.
* If "Share" is not an option, copy the content from another app and paste it into @Voice for reading aloud.
* Save articles you've opened in @Voice to files so you may listen to them later. Create listening lists with a variety of articles on them for uninterrupted, sequential listening. As necessary, sort the list in ascending order of importance, for example.
* Read eBooks on a screen in their original format with photos shown, turning pages as you go, or reading nonstop. Alternatively, put on headphones, mute the screen, and listen!
* Handles vertical Chinese and Japanese writing (right to left mode), or, if you'd like, switch to horizontal mode.
* Easily add Pocket articles you've saved to your @Voice reading list by selecting Menu > Add articles from Pocket in the Read List page. You may then read the articles on screen or hear them read aloud.
* Create audio files from spoken text using the WAV (uncompressed) or OGG (compressed) formats.
* To display dictionaries, translations, Wikipedia, Web search, and more, long-press a word or choose a longer phrase.
* TTS speech correction, with or without regular expressions (RegEx)
* The volume, pitch, and pace of the voice generator are all easily adjustable.
* Use the wired or Bluetooth headset buttons to pause and continue speaking as required. You may also use the Next/Previous keys to go to the next or previous phrase or item on a list.
* Use the appropriate TTS voice automatically when the language is recognized, if it is available, or manually choose your favorite voices using the "Select language" menu option.
* Options to add more pauses between sentences, speak immediately when a new article loads or wait for a button click, and speak or stop when the wired headset connector is added or unplugged.
* An optional sleep timer to halt speaking after a certain interval.
